Garden Care
KGMV provides specialized gardening services to maintain vegetable gardens and edible landscapes. We bring everything your garden needs to thrive and provide regular updates throughout the year. Clients are always welcome to join in—we love sharing our knowledge, and getting to know you helps us create the best garden for you.
-
KGMV can plan, plant, tend, and even harvest the garden for you.
This level of service is for clients who want an abundant garden, but aren’t available to take care of it day to day throughout the year.
-
Continuous support for clients who are active in their edible landscape.
In addition to preparation season and planting services listed above, KGMV will visit your garden at least twice a month during the main growing season.
When you enroll in Garden Care, we develop a custom annual service plan based on your goals and needs. We offer two levels of support:
Coaching for clients who want guidance for taking care of the garden’s needs yourself. Visits are scheduled at a set time and limited to 1 hour.
Upkeep for clients who want help keeping up with garden tasks. KGMV commits to fully refreshing your garden at least twice a month. You join when you can and don't worry when you can't- we'll be there to keep up with garden tasks and report updates. Visit timing varies.
-
Tell us what you want to eat & we’ll prepare a plan for what, where, and when to plant. Matching varieties that do well on the island with your schedule and garden conditions.
Then we bring your planting plan to life!
KGMV sources, delivers and helps plant quality plants and seeds for your garden.
We follow organic practices, avoid single use plastic, and seek suppliers who do the same.
-
Fall cleanup, spring bed prep.
Soil fertility management.
Perennial care and pruning.
At any level of Garden Care service, we encourage clients to book a full year so we can reserve your spot in our schedule. After your first season, we’ll review and renew your service plan each year in the fall.
